Reflection 2/21/07

I looked at this and found that it had instructions with specific steps. - even illustrated with photos. Really liked this instructional material. Could I use this - work with this for the piece on assisted technology?

reflections
I like this class and feel that you make each of your students comfortable. You have a kind manner that is supplemented with incredible amounts of information. I am so impressed and I sense that you are an amazing teacher with your day students.

I see great potential for the use of powerpoint in my own classes. I have students who really enjoyed doing power point and now I will assist them with adding sound and movement to their projects. I will study the talking books and see if I can add sound to their poem project from last week.
I feel that most people in the class see great value in powerpoint and enjoyed learning as much as possible.

I would like more information on the assisted web sites and will continue to research this on my own.
One of the sites that would help my 9th grade students (I heard about it but did not get the name) would be listening to what they have written so they can edit it on their own. Where do I find information on this site?

I walked out of class with the blog opened and so nothing was saved from last night.
I will work on this. I think I get so flooded with new ideas and information that I just go unconscious. I also have to drive for an hour home and I am often thinking of that.

A classic example of information overload or possibly you have the kind of mind that just explodes with possibilities when presented with new ideas.

Yes, you can use talking ppt books as an assistive technology.
