Reflection
This class was the best because we got to find out about the people who are in our class. I really loved everyone's slide show. The girl with the newspaper and the guy who was so involved with adobe photoshop and illustration. He really cared about his kids. Sharon this is a successful assignment. What an excellent class.

One way would be to give special education progress reports on the web.
Impower by giving a short informative class.
Using as a education support, information support to make students, parents, staff impowered

How do you develop a shared vision for students?
smoog factor - giving awards to teachers that mainstreamed kids.
Teach students to fix computers and go to GE classroom and fix classroom.
Kids become resource on GE classroom site - teach, fix and become appreciated.

how do you bring parents into it?
double learning service projects.
1. new kid - meet with parent and never criticise kid - something positive. You really care about your kid because of this __________ This positive breaks down barrier between kid parent

Regardless if parents are part of the problem they are still doing the best they can with what they have.Recoginze that and you have impowered the parent.
Assistive tech. 1st parents buy in - goals and objectives done with parents. What do you think
aout goals?
Impower the parents first then go for technology ....

authentic audience for impowering kids in writing.

impowering faculty in hs and middle school - educators are more content focused rather than child focused.
share web sites with collegues......give a list of websites that they might use.
